As someone who grew up in Christianity, the Bible is obviously a key influence. Most new things I encounter still instinctually are assessed through my filter of biblical understanding (and for reference, in the 2.5 decades I spent in mainstream, I read the Bible cover to cover multiple times (7-9 times) with the shortest read-time being 7 days (TLB) (and apologies because in my beliefs statement I think I said 10 but that was my previous short attempt which ended up taking 17) and the longest being 3 years (KJV). Additionally, I did a lot of topical reading as well, so while I may not know the original languages, I have a solid base of understanding from years of study.
With that said, my understanding of what it means has shifted as other revelations have come. As I mention in my beliefs, the Map of Consciousness was instrumental for me in shifting my understanding and becoming more aware of my energy. The Map of Consciousness spawned my simplified taxonomy Elevated Thought.
Since the concept of oneness was firmly rooted from my spiritual background, Law of One has been an interesting read with a lot of compelling concepts you’ll find woven throughout ideas shared (the first post directly resulting from Law of One reading was No Mistakes). Related though not connected directly is Bashar, whose teachings I’d been being blessed by and resonating with for over a year before I heard his backstory (I had to laugh at that because had I known up front I probably would’ve struggled to get past it, but after resonating with truth after truth after truth for a year, I would be remiss to simply dismiss him because he breaks my neatly constructed mental box I didn’t realize I still had LOL!)
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the fact that I have amazing and deeply spiritual friends who have shared many compelling truths with me. Especially my wise and dear friend Elisa Eaton.
All that to say, I miss truths everywhere I feel led to. I am intentional to credit sources when I’m reflecting an idea someone else has shared (which is typically done in the context of me adding an adjacent thought to it). I encourage every seeker who finds themselves here to mine the truths for yourself, and shelf (or chuck) what doesn’t resonate or is outside your understanding/interest.
