Exploring Clair-Abilities: Example Profiles

In previous posts, we introduced the concept of clair-abilities and explored the power of creating a personal profile to better understand your own intuitive gifts and those of others. Now, we’re taking this a step further by sharing two example profiles—one for a woman and one for a man. These examples showcase how individuals can flow in distinct and diverse ways, even within shared abilities, offering inspiration for reflecting on your own unique expression of these gifts.

First Example

Clair-Abilities Profile: example 1

The first profile is my own, and you may notice it has evolved since the first post on clair-abilities. Over time, I’ve realized I operate more strongly in certain areas than I initially recognized (or have reclassified them after processing how they flow). Revisiting your profile over time can reveal new strengths and shifts in how you flow. My strongest abilities are clairsentience (clear feeling), claircognizance (clear knowing), and clair-empathy—what I think of as the “sensing” abilities, while the remaining five fall into the “sensory” category.

I also occasionally experience clairvoyance and clairaudience. These often manifest as sensing that I’m seeing or hearing something rather than detailed visions or clear voices, though both do occur at times. Working with crystals has brought clairtangency (clear touch) to the forefront for me, and in embracing this ability, I’ve realized I’ve always sensed energy or emotions through objects or spaces. I rarely experience clairgustance (clear tasting) or clairalience (clear smelling), though I have occasionally picked up scents that I struggle to interpret.

Second Example

Clair-Abilities Profile: example 2

The second profile is a man whose strongest abilities include highly developed clairvoyance and clairaudience. His visions are vivid and dynamic—like movies he can pause, rewind, and replay—and he clearly hears messages in nature or quiet moments. His clairtangency often manifests outwardly, as he feels energy flowing through his hands into others. This flow is so tangible that even those unaware of what he is doing and feeling will sense it.

He also has strong claircognizance and some sensitivity to emotions (clair-empathy and clairsentience), though these abilities are somewhat muted due to childhood trauma. He has not experienced clairgustance or clairalience—or hasn’t noted them if he has. These profiles highlight how even shared abilities can manifest in unique and varied ways.

Actionable Insights

  • Reflect on how you would classify your abilities. If you were creating a profile of your own clair-abilities, how would you assess your strengths and areas for growth? Are there abilities you feel confident in? Are there others you’d like to explore or understand more deeply?
  • Cultivate a gift with intention. Choose one ability to intentionally develop. For example, if clairsentience resonates, focus on noticing subtle feelings and sensations in your daily interactions. Pay attention to how these impressions connect to the guidance you receive.
