Intentional Living: A Four-Step Process for Transformation

There are many concepts we can apply to live with greater joy, fulfillment, and alignment. But where true transformation begins is in bringing these principles together to create a cohesive approach. This is where intentional living comes in—it harmonizes core concepts to elevate our experience and raise our vibration.

I call this four-step approach “Intentional Living.” I had been working with these concepts for years before I discovered their alignment with “The Bashar Method,” which was a beautiful confirmation. Each step builds on the other, creating a cycle of growth and self-discovery; working together to create positive momentum in our lives.

Four-Step Intentional Living Process

Step 1: Trust the Flow and Follow Your Passion. When we pursue what feels energetically uplifting, we are aligning with our highest self and stepping into a state of unhindered energy. This allows us to move from a place of excitement, joy, and fulfillment, which naturally brings us closer to our truest path. It also has the benefit of energizing us rather than depleting our energy. Step 2: Maintain an Expectation of Good. Since what we focus on, we make room for, maintaining an expectation of good actively sets our focus toward the outcomes we desire, drawing those experiences into our lives. This practice creates a mindset that shifts us away from worry or fear—which would otherwise attract the very things we don’t want—and aligns us with the belief that life is happening for us, not to us. Step 3: Assume Positive Intent. We determine the stories we tell ourselves, so it makes sense to make it a good one. Recognizing that we don’t always have the full picture, we can choose to interpret situations in ways that uplift us. By embracing this mindset, we avoid unnecessary frustration and open ourselves to a lighter, more supportive perspective. Step 4: Release What No Longer Serves. When we encounter beliefs or habits that hinder our growth, it’s time to release and realign those false beliefs. This practice of release unburdens us, making space for what truly supports our path forward. By regularly clearing out what feels constricting, we make room for new possibilities. Why Intentional Living Matters

Intentional living is transformative because it builds momentum, creating a powerful feedback loop of positive energy. As we follow our passion, expect good, assume positive intent, and release what no longer serves, these steps work together like a wheel gaining speed. Each cycle deepens our experience, helping us embody these principles more fully.

This practice isn’t just about positive thinking; it’s about engaging with life in a way that feels aligned, light, and joyful. With each step, we create a life that reflects our highest values and brings out the best in ourselves. Intentional living helps us feel empowered, enlivened, and deeply fulfilled. By leaning into the uplifting momentum this process creates, we’re invited into a powerful cycle of joy, connection, and alignment with our true path.

Actionable Insights

  • Begin with Awareness. Notice where you naturally feel passion, peace, or excitement, and let this guide your decisions. Ask yourself: What activities make me lose track of time because I feel deeply engaged and fulfilled? Where do I feel light and open?
  • Embrace Gratitude and Possibility. Take a moment to pause and recognize the good things already present in your life, allowing yourself to feel deep gratitude. Use this gratitude to encourage a focus on the probability that more goodness is coming your way. By intentionally witnessing the good that is here and holding space for the good that is on its way, you open the door for even more positive experiences to flow into your life.
  • Reframe with Positive Intent. When faced with unexpected challenges, take a moment to pause and ask, “How could this be serving me?” This mindset shift can help turn obstacles into opportunities for growth.
  • Tune into Your Emotions as Guides. Pay attention to any negative emotions as arrows pointing toward areas that need your awareness. By following these cues, you can uncover and release false beliefs, creating space for new, supportive ones that align with your true path.
